For nearly two decades, JAX has been one of Killington's favorite places to gather. Whether you're celebrating after a day on the mountain, catching the game with friends, enjoying live music, or bringing the family out for dinner, JAX is where great food, genuine hospitality, and good times come together.
Our menu features elevated pub favorites, handcrafted burgers, wings, tacos, fresh salads, shareable appetizers, and rotating specials, complemented by Vermont craft beers, creative cocktails, and a full bar. Add live entertainment, pool tables, arcade games, and a welcoming atmosphere, and it's easy to see why JAX has become a year-round destination for both locals and visitors.
Open seven days a week, JAX offers something different every night—from live music and sporting events to weekly specials and community gatherings. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite, a family dinner, happy hour, or a late-night celebration, you'll always find a relaxed atmosphere and friendly faces waiting for you.
As Killington has grown into one of New England's premier four-season destinations, JAX has grown alongside it, becoming the hometown gathering place where memorable vacations, local traditions, and lasting friendships begin.
An excellent place to make your last stop coming off the mountain or your first on your trip up for the weekend.
The story of JAX began in 2003, when the building adjacent to the legendary Pickle Barrel Nightclub was purchased and completely renovated. Originally envisioned as a casual neighborhood pub, the project famously evolved from a set of ever-changing sketches drawn on cocktail napkins.
In the spring of 2004, Scrub-A-Dub Pub opened its doors and quickly became a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Its success inspired an ambitious expansion, and work soon began on transforming the upper level into a larger entertainment venue.
That vision became reality in December 2005 with the opening of JAX Food & Games. The name "JAX" draws inspiration from several places—including the owner's son, the classic sidewalk game of jacks, and the iconic New Orleans beer—capturing the fun, welcoming spirit that still defines the restaurant today.
Over the years, JAX has continued to evolve while staying true to its roots. What started as a neighborhood pub has become Killington's hometown bar—a place where families gather after a day on the slopes, friends meet for live music and drinks, sports fans cheer on their favorite teams, and visitors discover why JAX has become a tradition for generations of Killington guests.
Nearly twenty years later, the mission remains the same: serve great food, create memorable experiences, and offer everyone who walks through the door a place to relax, connect, and enjoy everything that makes Killington special.

JAX operates on a first come, first served basis and does not accept reservations. We do appreciate a head up if you're planning to visit with a large group, so we can be prepared for your arrival.
